WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?

Please RSVP by August 16th, 2024.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm, so please plan to arrive no later than 4:15 to have time to find a seat and get comfortable.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

There is onsite parking available for local guests and those who would prefer to drive.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, in front of the Orrmont house. If the weather is bad, we will move the ceremony inside. If that is the case, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be all be held indoors in the Clubhouse area of the Orrmont venue.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN THE AREA IN SEPTEMBER?

Daily high temperatures range from 68–74° F. Daily low temperatures range from 44–49° F.

WILL THERE BE A TIME GAP BETWEEN YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

No, there will be a short cocktail hour after the ceremony, with dinner at 6:30.

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED?

At the cocktail hour, fruit, vegetables, cheese, and charcuterie-style appetizers will be served. Dinner will be Mediterranean style with salmon patties, chicken meatballs, lemon pasta, grilled zucchini, and rolls. The vegan option for dinner will be falafel.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Yes. The bar will serve 2 types of beer, 2 wines, and 2 mixed drinks (more details to follow). Pop, water, lemonade, tea, and coffee will also be available.

WHAT TIME WILL THE RECEPTION END?

The reception will end at 9:30 pm.

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?

We do not. We kindly request no gifts for our wedding. Celebrating with you is what we care about most! If you want to bring or send something, we would treasure a card with your well wishes.

WHAT AIRPORTS ARE NEARBY?

The Dayton International Airport (DAY) is the closest airport (about 30 miles from Piqua). The John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) are also options nearby (about 90 miles from Piqua).

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL ROOM BLOCK?

We have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Troy, Ohio. If you are interested in staying there, you will need to book by September 5th to receive the special rate. Please see the "Accommodations" tab for more details.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FROM THE HOTEL?

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus to bring guests from the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Troy to the venue ahead of the ceremony. At the end of the evening, the shuttle bus will return guests to the hotel. More specific details about exact pickup and drop-off times to come.
